He’s unstoppable! Although his current single ‘Burning Man’ is still charting on radio stations across the country, Ross Jack has already released the next single off his brand new album ‘Self Medicated’. Ross has chosen fan-favourite ‘Fall’ as the follow-up record and has already premiered the track’s music video on his VEVO page.
Like many of the tracks on the new album, Ross shows us his darkest side yet. However, this isn’t like any track we’ve heard from the singer before. It’s a delicate song on both the raps and melodic chorus’. The production, done by Ross himself, is simple but manages to highlight the darkness Ross was trying to achieve and it’s this that allows the production that illuminates the song’s gentleness. Ross yet again proves he is a triple threat. We know he can sing and produce like a boss but the song is written so well as well. Ross manages to tell such a detailed, emotional story in song. His song-writing never ceases to amaze me and he did another great job this time around.
I have no doubt that this is going to be yet another hit for the singer who really deserves every single bit of success he has received. He is a breath of fresh air in our local hip-hop space and I hope that his career grows from strength to strength. Keep bringing the hits, Ross.
