Guys! I am so excited about this news! German DJ Robin Schulz, who’s remix of Mr Probs’ ‘Waves’ and smash hit ‘Prayer In C’ have taken the country, and world, by storm, will officially be headlining the Sound of Light events happening in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town in May. Joburg will also host a special event for the Under 18’s as LOUDA takes place at Innesfree Park.
According to the press release, Sound of Light is “an event based on light, where we capture the pure essence of what music looks like with an international standard production that will blow your mind. Expect a visual experience like never before, an experience built solely to entertain you. Only the best venues will do for this tour: Johannesburg – Nasrec, Cape Town – Shimmy Beach Club, and Durban – Wavehouse.”
What’s really cool about Robin’s tour is that he will also host an under 18 event in Jozi which will see him play alongside top SA local Dance acts & DJ’s – Goodluck, Pascal & Pearce, Royal K, Kyle Cassim and more. I think there is a huge gap in the market for under 18 events when these big DJs come through so I’m glad Robin is tapping into that market.
