Disney On Ice returns to Mzansi in its most magical show yet!
If there’s one corporation that can make a person of any age feel like a child again, it’s Disney. I witnessed this first hand after watching the brand new Disney On Ice: Let’s Celebrate show which is currently running at the TicketPro Dome in Northgate.
This time around, Mickey, Minnie and the rest of the gang decide to celebrate. Celebrate what? Anything and everything! From their unbirthday’s with the Mad Hatter, Halloween with Jack Skellington, Valentines Day with the many princesses, summer vacation with Stitch and even Christmas as a big family.
Firstly, we adored the costumes. It made characters such as Cruella De Vil, Buzz Lightyear, Aladdin, Pinocchio, Ariel, Snow White, Goofy, Tinkerbell, Donald Duck and so many more come to life. Secondly, you won’t believe what the cast is able to do on ice. From intense dance routines to dodging fire, this cast blew me away with their skating skills. Thirdly, since this show is geared at children, crowd interaction is a must and I’m happy to share that the cast know exactly how to entertain the kids and constantly waved and sang to their young fans.
That being said, adults will also find themselves singing along to the songs we all know and love. Seeing this show allows you to see the characters you grew up with come alive right in front of your eyes. Make sure you check this show out before it’s too late!
