UPDATE: On the 31st of August 2016, Refentse’s record label, Select Musiek, announced that Refentse’s ‘My Hart Bly In ‘n Taal’ has reached platinum status, selling over 40 000 copies in South Africa!
A big congratulations is in order for Afrikaans singer Refentse. The singer, who released his debut album ‘My Hart Bly In ‘n Taal’, earlier this year, has gone gold! This means that he has sold over 20 000 copies of the album since it’s release in April this year. What’s even more impressive is that he managed to do so in just under four months.
His current single ‘Baby, Wat Eet Ons Vanaand’ has been doing incredibly well and found itself at number five on Jacaranda FM’s SA Top 20 chart this week. Going gold is no easy feat. A big congrats to Refentse and his team for all the hard work!
