Last week, Pop Smoke dropped his post-humous album ‘Faith’ last week, topping the Billboard 200. The project has been hailed as some of the rapper’s best work to date and as the star-studded project continues to gain momentum, the Dua Lipa-assisted single ‘Demeanor’ has been chosen as the next release.
The track’s music video, directed by Nabil, finds global pop superstar Dua Lipa in a faraway castle at a bourgeois dinner party before being joined by the presence of Pop Smoke during his verse.
“I’m so proud to be on this amazing song and to celebrate Pop as such a great artist. I was really touched when Steven Victor from his label showed me the video of Pop dancing to ‘One Kiss’ and told me how much Pop liked my music,” Dua Lipa explaims. “Hope everyone enjoys the video, it was great working with Nabil again and it’s one of my favourite videos.”
On the video, Nabil says, “I was super excited to be able to work on a song with Pop Smoke and Dua Lipa. I felt the collaboration came together so well sonically that my goal was to create a timeless fairytale setting and a painting within it that could hopefully resonate onward.”
The video is the third video off the project after ‘Coupe’ and ‘Mr. Jones’.
