P!nk is dominating the charts around the world with her massive comeback single ‘What About Us’ and ahead of the release of her new album ‘Beautiful Trauma’ on the 13th of October, the star has released the title track as the next instant grat track.
“Tomorrow I’m releasing the title track to BEAUTIFUL TRAUMA,” she tweeted yesterday (Sept. 27). “I wrote the song with a very awesome person @jackantonoff and named the album after it (because) life is f*cking traumatic. But it’s also incredibly beautiful, too. There’s a lot of beauty still and beautiful souls. Enjoy.”
P!nk starts the song off slow as she croons over the sounds of a piano. “We were on fire/I slashed your tires/It’s like we burned so bright we burnt out/I made you chase me, I wasn’t that friendly/My love, my drug, we’re fucked up,” she sings before the chorus kicks in.
2017 has been a massive year for P!nk. Earlier this year she was given the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs in August. In her acceptance speech, she detailed a recent time when her young daughter came to her upset because she felt she was ugly and stood up against bullying and for acceptance.
