Miley Cyrus has come a long way since her days on Hannah Montana. The former Disney darling has become an incredible actress and singer in her own right and has hits such as ‘We Can’t Stop’, ‘Wrecking Ball’, ‘The Climb’ and many more under her belt. However, it seems talent runs in the family as Miley’s little sister, Noah, has just dropped her debut single – and it features English rapper Labrinth.
The 16-year-old dropped the moody pop track as the lead single off her upcoming debut album and proves she is a force to be reckoned with. Unsurprisingly, the singer has a similar tone to her voice as her famous sister but brings a darker element almost reminiscent of Lana Del Rey. The song, written by both artists, is a perfect introduction to Noah as an artist. Not only does it prove she has the vocal ability to become a star, but it oozes creativity as well.
“My dad always had me sing alongside him while he played guitar. He taught me how to harmonize to an old song of his, ‘Missing You,'” Noah said recently. “Writing is the best way to get your mind clear. It’s also a great way to explain your past or what you hope for the future.” Noah has landed an epic $350 000 recording contract – $100,000 for writing her album and a further $250,000 for recording it. I guess it’s time for the other Cyrus sister to shine.
