It’s not every day that X Games medallists, record holders and the best action sport stars com together in one place to display some of the best tricks ever accomplished, but Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg were lucky enough to be the last leg of the current Nitro Circus tour.
35 000 people filled the beautiful FNB Stadium in Johannesburg (the largest Nitro Circus crowd in history) to watch 40 of the world’s best action sports athletes performing daring and often record-breaking tricks in freestyle motocross, BMX and skateboarding, along with heart-stopping stunts on unique contraptions!
The show was an adrenaline junkies heaven yet even someone who isn’t a petrol head could appreciate just how magnificent these athletes are! From FMX jumps and flips to skateboards, BMX’s, Barbie cards, bathtubs, skis and even sofas, these athletes rode them all! The show even has an athlete on a wheelchair with is both phenomenal and inspiring to watch!
Naturally, a show like this would not be complete without some fireworks and boy did they deliver! The pyrotechnics were incredible! Flames and fireworks burst at precisely the right moment and the grand finale was a spectacle in itself.
