After three gripping seasons of Netflix’s ‘Blood & Water’, the highly-anticipated fourth season of the show is set to premiere in just a few weeks. To get us hyped, Netflix has premiered the official trailer – and it’s everything we hoped it would be.
The series follows Puleng (Ama Qamata) and Fikile (Ngema), sisters who reunite as teens after Fikile was kidnapped by human traffickers as a baby.
After a gripping third season, season four sees the girls navigate senior year at Parkhurst High. “Puleng and Fiks try to move on during their senior year, but the past pits them against each other when they discover that they’re still being targeted,” Netflix’s official description reads.
Fan favourites Gail Mabalane, Thabang Molaba, Dillon Windvogel, Arno Greeff, Greteli Fincham, Getmore Sithole and Odwa Gwanya return for the show’s new season which will also introduce some fresh new faces – including André Lamogli who joins the cast as Iván, the Spanish character he portrays in Netflix’s smash hit series ‘Elite’. The crossover continues after Khosi Ngema’s Fikike joined the Spanish show’s seventh season last year. As always, Iván’s character is set to bring some spicy drama to the series which seems to include a leaked sex tape.
‘Blood & Water’ returns for season four on 1 March 2024, steaming on Netflix.
