Canadian pop duo Neon Dreams have taken the local music space by storm with their smash hit ‘Life Without Fantasies’. The song raced up streaming charts and is now a staple on most of the biggest radio stations in the country. After the success of the track here in South Africa, the duo put together a South African tour that is expected to kick off this May. However, the group decided to arrive early and take in all the country has to offer.
“We connected with as many fans as possible performing on Instagram live feeds, sending personal videos and private zoom concerts. We are extremely grateful for the love we are experiencing. Sometimes music just needs to find the right home,” Lead vocalist Frank Kadillac explains.
The success inspired the duo to put together a Covid-19 compliant tour around the country and will be visiting venues in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, Knysna and Stellenbosch with tickets limited to 100 per show.
The tour is expected to start in early May but the duo got a head start by arriving a month early to enjoy a much-needed vacation and shoot a music video while they’re here.
