I love when local music is taken seriously by artists and record labels. Local group Monark have become one of the hottest acts in the South African pop scene and their new single ‘Hush’ has officially been paired with an epic music video. Firstly, the track is one of their best. Not only is the beat super catchy but the vocals are on flipping point. Lyrically, the song is great as well. Making great videos costs a lot of money and while many think they aren’t necessary, I feel that great videos (cheap can be great) cement an artists position in a consumers mind. This video has done just that for me. It’s epic. Well done, guys!
