New Year, New Miley! This is what the pop star has been teasing on billboards around the world over the past few weeks and as we officially enter 2023, the star has confirmed that brand-new music is right around the corner.
The star announced that her upcoming eighth studio album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ releases on 10 March and that the project’s lead single ‘Flowers’ drops on 13 January.
Miley announced the album alongside a beautiful video with faded, vintage-looking shots of pool water, blue skies and palm trees flash by as Cyrus, vamping over swelling synth flares, recounts a story of meeting someone for the first time on a “neon dingy, past the manta rays.”
“We danced until there was nothing else,” she says. “‘Cause that’s all we knew.”
Miley describes Endless Summer Vacation as a love letter to L.A. that showcases the confidence she’s found since focusing on her mental and physical well-being.
The album was recorded with producers Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, Mike WiLL Made-It and Tyler Johnson.
Hands up if you’re ready for new music from Miley!
