We may be headed for colder weather with Autumn creeping up on us but the new collaboration from Miguel Pregueiro and Gvbriel (Real name, Austin Lurring) is guaranteed to bring the heat.
‘Way She Moves’ is the culmination of years of friendship, something that neither of them had thought about doing until this year. “I can’t believe it took us so long to collaborate on a track,” Miguel shares. “I’ve admired Gvbriel’s talent for years and it’s been an incredible experience to create this song with him.”
Gvbriel shares more on working with Miguel on the single, “Working with Migs was really easy because the vibes in the studio were (just) organic. We both felt like we could be true to ourselves and our styles musically & I think that’s what made the song so unique and special. I also think it helped that we’re such good friends so it contributed to that good energy being created & felt through the music.”
Miguel, typically known for adding a Spanish flare to his music, has started exploring various other genres he enjoys. One of his previous releases, “Hola” was a fresh Latin-Afro-beat track that ended up being his best-received track to date, landing on major playlists on Apple Music including Global Pop and even went to #1 on various station charts. Gvbriel, most recognized for being on The Voice South Africa Season 1 made it to the semi-finals and was coached by & worked with many industry professionals along the way such as Lira, Bobby Van Jaarsveld & RJ Benjamin. “Way She Moves” perfectly combines the two artists’ sounds with Gvbriel’s R&B influences fresh in the vocal delivery.
