Michael Buble Returns To South Africa

You probably wouldn’t believe it if I told you that one of the best live shows I have ever seen was by talented Canadian singer Michael Buble. But it’s true. And some great news to start off your Monday morning – he will be back in South Africa in March to perform in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

Michael Bublé has achieved global sales of 45 million albums in the course of his extraordinary decade long career. His previous ‘Crazy Love’ tour sold out in 80 US cities and was seen by over 2 million fans worldwide including 5 sold out dates in Cape Town and Johannesburg, while the album ‘Crazy Love’ has now passed 7.6 million sales. Bublé’s last CD, the multi-platinum ‘Christmas’, was the second biggest selling album of 2011 following Adele and spent almost 2 and half years on the album chart. His latest release ‘To Be Loved’ debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Magazine Top 200 pop charts.

In a South African first, Michael will be performing an intimate concert at the Cape Town stadium and is said to be a first of it’s kind. Managing Director of Big Concerts, Justin Van Wyk commented: “Michael Bublé will be the first concert in this new stadium layout. Fans will be treated to an evening of Michael Bublé with exceptional sound and a world-class production played out in an intimate setting. Van Wyk also added: “This new configuration will enable us to bring a whole range of new tours to Cape Town which previously may have been left out. However, capacity is limited with only 3 seating blocks on the field and we urge fans to get their tickets early”.

Michael has such a charisma when on stage and his strong powerful voice is even more incredible when watched live. You wouldn’t think that he would be as exciting to watch as artists such as Rihanna or Lady Gaga but he is. He’s a star and you don’t want to miss this show!
