Mi Casa is back, baby! The trio, made up of J’Something (vocals), Dr. Duda (producer, piano) and Mo-T (trumpet) are finally back with new music after a short hiatus. Mi Casa premiered ‘Rock3t’ this month as a new era officially begins for the group.
The song is released via the group’s new deal with Universal Music Germany and sees the group explore stronger pop influences in their music. The focus remains on irresistible melodies, which Mi Casa weaves together with strong songwriting and, above all, stories from real life.
The song has the uplifting theme of dreaming big and never giving up. Mi Casa drew inspiration from their longtime friendship, which has strengthened them as artists and always spurred them on.
In the video for their new pop anthem, the group let old childhood memories revive, using child actors to take fans back in time to when the trio were young.
‘Rock3t’ is an exciting next step in Mi Casa’s musical journey and we have a feeling we’ll be bumping this one loud for the next few months.
