Christmas is right around the corner and while many artists around the world release versions of their favourite Christmas carols, our local artists have been rather quiet – until now! Earlier today, Matthew Mole released a beautiful cover of the popular carol ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’. Matthew makes the song his own as he sings the song over his signature acoustic guitar sound.
However, Matthew makes the song even more special by collaborating with his father, Rory. Christmas is all about family and it’s great to see Matthew and his dad come together and record music. Matthew also asked his fans to send through some clips of themselves to add to the song’s video. Matthew has said that his fans are like family so it’s great to see him include them in the video. I love that Matthew released a Christmas carol and I truly believe more artists should be doing things like this. This will definitely be on repeat over the next few days.
