After dropping sleeper hit ‘Nobody’ earlier this year (which, honestly, deserved way more recognition than it did), local producer and DJ Mark DVB is back with new music as he teams with newcomer and The Voice star Elisha James for his new banger ‘Love Runs Out’.
The duo collaborated on a track which, apart from being relatable in message to just about everyone ever hurt in love, holds a melancholic melody with dark undertones, whilst nurturing a soulful, Nineties-inspired House beat.
Elisha explores his full vocal range on the track, playing with deeper notes on the verses and elevating the emotion during choruses. Smart backing vocals add dimension and depth to this tune that feels built for singing along to on road trips as much as dancefloors.
The merge between these two artists is one that developed organically, producing an undeniable chemistry in the song-writing process, seeing their song writing credits matched in equal measure.
