Lambs rejoice! Mariah Carey will finally be putting on a show in Mzansi for the first time in April and May next year. Mariah, the biggest selling female artist of all time, will be performing in South Africa in May 2016 as she brings her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour to the country where she promises to perform all the hits we know and love.
“Lambily, it’s been too long!! I’m so excited to be coming to South Africa to perform for you all. I promise we’re going to share the most amazing moments together and I have so many surprises in store for you daahhlings! Can’t wait to see you all in your hometown. Love Mariah x,” the singer said shortly after announcing the tour which heads to Johannesburg on the 1st and 2nd of May 2016 at the Ticketpro Dome.
Mariah is a music icon, a soul legend, a pop phenomenon, a breathtaking live artist and has sold over 220 million records and 17 of her 18 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles have been self-penned, including ‘Fantasy’, ‘Always Be My Baby’, ‘Hero’, ‘Touch My Body’, ‘One Sweet Day’, and ‘We Belong Together’, more than any other solo artist.
The star has had a string of hits and I can’t wait to see her perform these tracks live. For the huge fans, there is a meet and greet opportunity and several other VIP packages to ensure that great seats or meeting your idol is possible.
