It’s true! Lulu Dikana will support John Legend on all three Johannesburg dates for his highly anticipated All Of Me Tour. While I’m not too familiar with her music, I did a bit of research and I think that she will be perfect for the job.
Lulu Dikana’s passion for singing, producing and arranging was nurtured by her father the legendary Viva Dikana from early childhood. She did some work with Kalawa before releasing her debut album ‘My Diary, My Thoughts’ in 2008 with hit singles “Real Love” and “Life and Death”. The inspirational Urban Soul singer is currently putting the finishing touches on her latest recording ’I Came To Love’ scheduled for release by Sony Music in October 2014. Quite simply, Lulu has this to say about the new album “I sing of the love in me and in my life, and with that each has formed a life all its own”.
“An Evening with John Legend: The All of Me Tour,” has currently sold out in over 60 cities the US as well as 6 South African dates and features John in an intimate setting, highlighted by guitar/vocal accompaniment, bass, drums as well as a string quartet. Fans can expect to hear John perform his smash single “All of Me” from his critically acclaimed fourth studio album ‘LOVE IN THE FUTURE’, as well as a mix of well loved songs from his previous albums.
