Locnville Reignite Their Sound With Comeback Single ‘Show Me Love’

After taking time away from the spotlight, Locnville, the platinum-selling South African electro-pop duo of twin brothers Andrew and Brian Chaplin, are back with ‘Show Me Love,’ a hypnotic new single featuring Hannah Ray.

Blending shimmering Afro-house grooves with a club-ready polish, ‘Show Me Love’ captures the duality of emotion, the highs and lows of love, the tension between surrender and control. “It was written more from a feeling than a story,” Locnville’s Andrew Chaplin shares. “It beautifully describes the push and pull of many things we experience in life.” Brian Chaplin adds, “The lyrics of the hook are meant to portray opposite sides of the same feeling, like ‘take me up, and pull me under.’ It’s a good way to describe love.”

The collaboration came to life through longtime friend and producer Sketchy Bongo, who introduced the duo to Hannah Ray. “I mentioned to Sketchy that I was looking for new vocalists for my Djenga project,” Andrew recalls. “He sent me Hannah’s vocals, and it instantly made sense for where we wanted to go next.”

Once in the studio, magic struck quickly. “When we started building the beat, the hook came about really easily,” Brian says. “But I felt the verses needed something lighter. When Hannah came through, she basically freestyled the verses — it came together in one go. I’d love to work with her again.”

Sonically, ‘Show Me Love’ signals a shift in Locnville’s evolution. Drawing from Afro-house textures and Andrew’s dance-centric Djenga explorations, the brothers are steering their sound toward deeper, club-driven production. “We want to take Locnville more into a production-based direction rather than a purely vocal act,” Andrew explains.

The time apart, and eventual reconnection, also shaped the track’s renewed sense of freedom. “It’s been ages,” Andrew admits. “We were just living completely separate lives.” Brian adds, “I became a father, and we hadn’t even seen each other in a few years. But when we met up again, it was like, ‘Let’s make something.’”

And that something feels like a rebirth. “Honestly, I just want people to have a good time,” Andrew says. “When you put this track on, I want you to feel good and want to spin it again.” Brian hints that this is just the beginning: “We’ll be doing shows and writing more — 2026 is going to be a big year. We’re just here to have fun again.”
