He’s one of Mzansi’s most successful actors and this December, Leon Schuster returns to the big screen in his next film ‘Frank & Fearless’. The film sees the comedian do what he does best as he takes a break from his hidden camera skits to create a brand-new scripted comedy.
In the film, we meet Insecure railway chef, Sonny Frank, and a ten-year-old boy, Fearless who set out to kidnap the ambassador of a South-East Asian country in an attempt to stop rhino slaughtering. They are joined on this mission by two four-legged friends; Reini, a baby rhino whose mother was killed by poachers and Fearless’ big and faithful black dog called Dog. When things go terribly wrong, they have no choice but to take on a platoon of merciless poachers, who are led by the terrifying ranger turned poacher, Dolf, with whom Sonny has a past.
The star-studded cast, which includes Kenneth Nkosi (Tsotsi), Khanyi Mbau (Happiness is a Four Letter Word), Jennifer Steyn (Goodbye Bafana, Madam and Eve) and David Dennis (Soul City) and newcomer Themba Ntuli.
