If there’s one EDM producer that has really stood out for us this year, it has to be Norwegian Kygo. The deejay teamed up with Australian singer Conrad Sewell for the smash hit ‘Firestone’ which became one of the biggest dance songs of 2015. Now, the DJ has teamed up with British singer Ella Henderson for his brand new single – Here For You!
Much like his hit single ‘Firestone’, ‘Here For You’ sees Kygo using subtle sounds and instruments to create a more delicate EDM sound. Because the music is soft and humble, Ella’s voice shines and really takes the track to a new level. I love that Kygo has taken a different approach to EDM music as the genre is already becoming incredibly saturated. I’m just wondering how much longer he can keep this sound going before it becomes predictable.
That being said, the track has already started charting around the world and while we don’t think it’ll be as big as ‘Firestone’, we definitely love the track. We can’t wait to see what the DJ pulls out of his sleeve next!
