Kriya Gangiah’s Top 3 Tips For A Productive Start To 2022

Now that the kids are back at school and the country settles back into routine, it is time to start focusing on you. The last two years have certainly been a challenge but there are a few ways you can change your mindset and set the tone for a productive 2022. “According to the Chinese calendar this year we celebrate the year of the tiger: a year of strength, exorcising evils, and braveness. Fitting don’t you think?” television and radio personality Kriya Gangiah says.

As the owner of digital agency Kri8tive Media, Kriya knows that keeping your head in the game is imperative when it comes to achieving your desired results. So, what can you do to initiate change? Kriya shares easy tips that you can implement throughout the year to maximize your output and make 2022 your most productive year yet

Set realistic goals with timelines

Journaling is an important tool in setting up and sticking to your business goals you may set for yourself. “I like to set a few business goals that I want to achieve throughout the year. The most important part of this exercise is the timeline, if you don’t set a completion date you tend to procrastinate around it,” Kriya explains.

She adds “Once you have pinpointed your goals, it’s time to create a plan. Use your goal as a reference and start sketching out what each step of your plan will look like. I like to set out a goal for every three to four months of the year, so I know I will achieve something every quarter.”

Create or fine-tune your routine

There are always changes you can make to your personal routine that will make a world of a difference to your business. “I know you probably already have a routine in place, but there is always room for improvement. Look at maybe getting up half an hour earlier and doing some meditation or yoga before getting to those morning emails,” Kriya suggests. “Move dinner 20 minutes earlier so you can get some extra sleep in. Find and focus on other areas that you can help your time management become for efficient.”

Introduce healthy habits

“Healthy habits are key when it comes to having a successful business. You need to constantly reflect on yourself and the business and up skill where needed,” Kriya says. “How am I progressing with my goals? Will I reach my target? Is my business successful? Ask the hard questions and hold yourself accountable!”

She continues “It might also be helpful to look back and old strategies, figure out if they can be improved on and how this can benefit your business. I hope that this helps you start 2022 off on the right foot and gives you the extra push to make it even better than the previous years.”
