It’s undoubtedly the biggest track in Mzansi right now – and K.O. continues to dominate with ‘Sete’.
The song has been at number one on both Apple Music and Spotify’s top song charts as well as the official South African charts and this week, the rapper hit a milestone of 10 million views on the track’s official music video on YouTube.
In a press statement in August, the rapper said the “African opulent lovers anthem” spoke to showering your partner with spoils and celebrating each other.
“I wanted to see what we could cook up, and I am happy with the beautiful smash-up that is Sete,” K.O said in the statement. “The inspiration was to bring three different people from different worlds; I had an idea to bring together artists from various spaces [and] that resulted in a collaboration from the amapiano sphere with Young Stunna, the hip-hop/trap sphere with Blxckie and, of course, I came through with the Skhanada ting.”
