Josh Middleton Showcases Growth As He Digs Deep On New Album ‘A Mild Case Of Insomnia’

Pop crooner Josh Middleton releases his second studio album “A Mild Case of Insomnia” today. The project comes after the young sensation dropped the smash hits ‘Caught Up’ and ‘Stay’ and finally allows the 18-year-old pop star to show fans just how much he’s grown since he made his debut back in 2017.

“A Mild Case of Insomnia” is an 8 track album where Josh undergoes a complete rebirth of artistry. The album features some unforgettable melodies, lyrics of vast depth, singles of high energy and soulful anthemic chorus’s, contrasted with light-hearted and relatable tracks too.

To produce and record the majority of the songs on this album, Middleton worked alongside long-time producer, Crighton Goodwill of Good Noise Productions. The pair make use of multiple live instruments allowing Josh’s vocals to take centre stage. Middleton also collaborates with BadFuture’s, Paul Gala, on singles like “Somebody (Sorry)” which is also featured on the album.

To celebrate the release of the album, Josh has chosen ‘Than You Do’ as the next single off the project and drops the track’s music video alongside the album release.

What’s special about this record is that Josh unapologetically explores the ups and downs of being a teenager in today’s society. He takes a look at themes like love, anxiety and heartache in the most relatable way possible. Vocally, Josh sounds better than ever before. He has honed his vocal and delivers a world-class performance.

“A Mild Case of Insomnia” is an alternative pop album that shows more depth to this incredible artist and songwriter, as a young gentleman wise beyond his years. This record hints that Josh has an incredible and long career ahead of him.
