Jono Grayson made a name for himself on the popular reality series ‘The Voice South Africa’ and after relocating to the United Kingdom recently, the star is ready to make a musical comeback as he drops his new single ‘I Hope You Know’.
The track is an ode to a woman’s natural beauty. Produced by Jono, the acoustic styled ballad pulsates romance with its anthemic type production and emotional songwriting.
“I wanted to write something that was not just another love song but also had an encouraging message behind it. I wanted to go against what social media says and how it portrays women to feel like they need make up to look good,” Jono tells us. “Not that its a bad thing to wear make-up, I just want them to feel beautiful without it on. I think as men we need to encourage the women in our lives to know that you will love her no matter what and that she will always be beautiful just the way she is. Its also a message to my future wife. I think in the year we have had, we need some encouragement, so I hope that whoever hears this song will be inspired by the words I’ve written and the message behind it.”
