If you’re unfamiliar with the name Jon Bellion, you might remember his vocals from Zedd’s hit track ‘Beautiful Now’. After the track’s success, Jon started working on his debut album ‘The Human Condition’ which he released in June this year. Now, as he tackles the international market, Jon has rereleased his smash hit ‘All Time Low’ and it’s easily become one of my favourite songs of the year so far.
I think this song is something special because it comes from a raw, honest place. Emotionally, Jon pours his heart and soul into the song and it’s evident everywhere – especially in the bridge where you can hear the emotions have consumed him. I love that although the original release of the song happened over a year ago, it’s finally getting spins on local radio. While the lyrics are simple, the story Jon tells is real – and one that is very important to him. The song has touched me and I really hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do.
