Jethro Tait is still rocking the airwaves with his powerful new single ‘Sad’. The song has proven to be the singer’s most successful solo single to date and as the track continues its trajectory in streams and airplay, the singer has already planned his next release – a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s massive hit ‘Dreams’.
The song, written by the legendary Stevie Nicks, is one of the act’s most famous singles and it has famously been covered by a number of acts including Irish duo The Corrs. Now, Jethro hopes to make the song his own as he records his very own version of the track which is set for release this Friday 7 August.
In an Instagram post where Jethro shares a sneak peek of the track, the singer says that the song has a very important place in his heart. “‘Dreams’ was originally released by Fleetwood Mac in 1977. My mom is a big fan of the band as well as Stevie Nicks and I remember hearing their music throughout my childhood,” Jethro says. “‘Dreams’ is a song that has always stuck with me. I hope you like my take on it!”
