We’re still turning the radio up loud when Jason Derulo’s ‘Get Ugly’ hits the airwaves but we’re happy to announce that he hasn’t been sleeping. The singer has been hard at work on his upcoming mixtape and he’s just released the lead single off the project – a track called ‘If It Ain’t Love’ and its eargasmic!
The pop track is the perfect lead single. Not only is it catchy as hell, but the hard deep house beat will ensure you feel the bass throughout your body when at the clubs. The song isn’t too different from what we’ve heard from Jason before but, like Chris Brown, we can rely on him to bring the hits. ‘If It Ain’t Love’, produced by Monsters and the Strangerz, follows the Top 40 recipe for success and although he has played it safe with the single, it’s clear that this will be another smash hit from the singer.
“I don’t know which songs are actually going to make the [mixtape], but I worked with Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Wale, French Montana,” he said. “But I don’t want to put too many songs on there.” We can’t wait to hear what Jason is working on and we’re glad he’s releasing smash’s like these instead of his recent track ‘Naked’ which included jabs at his ex-girlfriend Jordin Sparks. Jason’s brought the heat and we’re so excited about this release!
