Montecasino has cemented itself as Gauteng’s premier entertainment destination. It’s got an array of restaurants, a theatre, casino, three hotels, a movie complex, entertainment centre and a whole lot more. Over the years, Montecasino has held many great events on the complex. This year, however, they’re adding a music festival to their line-up – and it’s going to be epic!
The festival, which sees Montecasino partnering with Marshall Music & Sony ATV, will celebrate the best in South African music. This means that well-established acts as well as a few new faces will be taking the stage and showing off the incredible talent we have in the country. What’s more exciting is that the two-day event will see artists cover a variety of genres such as rock, pop, folk, house, dance and electronic music.
Acts such as GOODLUCK, Ross Jack, Mafikizolo, Matthew Mole, Josh Kempen and many more will perform live at the festival, which will be held at the complex’s outdoor event area. There will also be a ‘Smash Village’ where some shade, food (Mexican burritos, burgers, desserts, and everything else your tummy desires) and a bar will be available. It it, however, important to note that since alcohol will be served, this is an over 18 event only. Tickets are super reasonable as well with a R100 day pass per person or an entire weekend pass for just R150.
