Last night, the star-studded premiere of Leon Schuster’s ‘Frank & Fearless’ took place at the popular Ster Kinekor in Sandton City. The comedian has been hard at work creating his latest film, which premieres in cinemas on the 23rd of November.
In the film, we meet Insecure railway chef, Sonny Frank, and a ten-year-old boy, Fearless who set out to kidnap the ambassador of a South-East Asian country in an attempt to stop rhino slaughtering. They are joined on this mission by two four-legged friends; Reini, a baby rhino whose mother was killed by poachers and Fearless’ big and faithful black dog called Dog. When things go terribly wrong, they have no choice but to take on a platoon of merciless poachers, who are led by the terrifying ranger turned poacher, Dolf, with whom Sonny has a past.
The star-studded cast, which includes Kenneth Nkosi (Tsotsi), Khanyi Mbau (Happiness is a Four Letter Word), Jennifer Steyn (Goodbye Bafana, Madam and Eve) and David Dennis (Soul City) and newcomer Themba Ntuli.
