About three weeks ago, Nickelodeon South Africa gave me a call asking if I was free to travel around the end of March. Naturally, I said I am but they didn’t give me a lot more details until about a week later when they told me that I could be heading to Los Angeles for the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards! Everything was confirmed about a week ago and at the moment, I’m taking a break from packing to give you guys a quick little update.
The “Orange Carpet” will be set up in front of Galen Center on the sidewalks of Jefferson Boulevard on Saturday night for a slime-filled extravaganza for kids around the world to watch! This year, the show will be hosted by Mark Whalberg who has been in some pretty huge films this past year and is also starring in the upcoming Transformers film.
I visited Los Angeles earlier this year (yes, I’m FREAKING lucky!!) to interview some of E!’s biggest stars including Giuliana Rancic, Ryan Seacrest, Joan Rivers, Joel McHale, Kelly Osbourne and a few more. This time, however, things will be a lot more relaxed as the stars, media and kids let loose and just have a good time.
Here is a list of some of the celebritites who will be presenting an award on the night. This, however, does not include the many celebrity guests who will be attending.
