After his gold-selling second studio album I Believes In Me: 2nd Quadrant broke records last year, iFani has started working on the next chapter of his music career. He has been in studio working on his upcoming new record and has just dropped a brand new single alongside fellow rapper, Chad Da Don – and it’s fire!
The song, produced by George Avakian, is another piece of hip-hop gold. The mid-tempo song is something so fresh and current. While iFani delivers an epic rap on the verses, he sings the chorus – something that has proven to be successful in the genre. The production of the song is simple but impactful and lyrically, iFani seems to deliver every time. Chad Da Don, who recently dropped his new album The Book Of Chad, shows us once again why he’s one of the hottest new names in hip-hop.
It’s songs like these that really elevate the status of South African hip-hop. The song shows off iFani’s tremendous growth and the new sound adds even more layers to his already impressive résumé.
