SHE’S the teen everyone is talking about. Not only is Hailee Steinfeld rocking out with the likes of Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner and the rest of the gang, but the girl is super talented as well. The Academy Award nominee released her debut single Love Myself last year which saw moderate success, released her debut EP HAIZ and appeared in films such as Pitch Perfect 2 and True Grit, and now she’s dropped her new single, Rock Bottom, and has brought DNCE along for the ride.
Although releasing a solo version of the song last year, Hailee is close to Joe Jonas, so it was a no brainer when his new band jumped on board the song. The song is exactly the pop gem we were expecting from the singer. Although the song is quite simple in terms of production and lyrics, we can’t help but sing along loudly to the love jam. There is definitely star power around Hailee and her music and we wouldn’t be surprised if she became the next big pop star in the years to come.
While the song is off Hailee’s debut EP, the singer is currently working on new music that will appear on her highly anticipated debut album which could drop as early as this year. We can’t wait to see what she cooks up in studio although, we must admit, we’re expecting nothing less than the best from her.
