After Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose was forced to cut the group’s Abu Dhabi show short after falling ill, South African fans feared the worst as their Johannesburg show was their next stop on the ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour. However, Axl has recovered and the group have arrived on South African soil as they prepare for their first and only South African show on the 29th of November.
“We can confirm that Guns N’ Roses arrived in South Africa and that they are looking forward to the first ever show in our country,” Big Concerts’ PR company TPW Agency said in a statement ensuring fans that the show is scheduled to go on as planned.
The ‘Not In This Lifetime’ world tour is currently the fourth highest-grossing tour of all time and local fans have been waiting decades for the band to perform on South African soil.
