He’s coming back! British pop star George Ezra wowed local fans on his previous South African tour in 2015 and after a string of hit singles, the star is making his way back for two shows later this year as he announces his 2023 South African tour dates.
Local promoter Big Concerts confirms George will perform in Cape Town on 12 July 2023 at Grand Arena, GrandWest, and on 15 July at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria.
George is known for his smash hit single ‘Shotgun’ and has released three studio albums to date – namely ‘Wanted On Voyage’, ‘Staying At Tamara’s’ and the just-released ‘Gold Rush Kid’. The latter features the star’s latest hit single ‘Green Green Grass’ and continues to showcase Ezra’s exceptional vocal.
The star also recently premiered his acclaimed documentary End to End, chronicling an unforgettable journey by George and two childhood friends across the UK, walking 1,200 miles across 95 days from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
Now, he’s officially heading back to South Africa to bring his new music to local fans.
