Swedish production duo, Galantis, rocked the Ultra South Africa stage earlier this year and has released the smash hits ‘No Money’ and ‘Love On Me’ earlier this year. Now, as the year officially comes to a close, the group are ending it off with a bang as they release ‘Pillow Fight’ as their new single – and the response has been phenomenal.
Galantis are known for their summery tunes and banging beats and has delivered yet another flawless production with ‘Pillow Fight’. The song, once again, sees the group deliver a fusion of pop and electronic music with a powerful, catchy, anthemic vocal with a strong production. The group has crafted a pop track using an array of sounds and instruments without the song sounding messy. In fact, it’s an intrinsic piece of music while still serving its main purpose of being a club and radio hit – something not many DJs are able to do.
“In lots of ways “Pillow Fight” brings back the original Galantis heart and roots, and reminds us why we started this project.
