EVER since forming on The X Factor back in 2012, Fifth Harmony has been growing in popularity and has released a string of smash hits this year such as Worth It featuring Kid Ink and Sledgehammer. The group also released their debut album Reflection earlier this year which received rave reviews from critics around the world. Now the group has teamed up with Sony for the upcoming animation Hotel Transylvania 2 as they release the film’s theme song I’m In Love With A Monster.
The track follows a string of pop songs that have used funk as an influence and has a heavy jazz influence throughout the track. The track is catchy and will definitely become a hit before the film releases in theatres on September 25. If you bought Fergie’s debut album The Dutchess you will notice that the instrumentals sound a lot like her track Here I Come – which was definitely a highlight off the record.
We don’t know about you guys, but we loved the first film in the franchise and, after watching the trailer for the second instalment, we’re even more excited to watch this film! We’re huge fans of Fifth Harmony and we’re so glad that girl groups are making a comeback!
