The weekend is getting closer and closer and, to get you in the mood, we’re showcasing an exquisite EDM collaboration between Dutch DJs Fais and Afrojack. The two have come together on a track called Hey and it has summer written all over it. The collaboration is even more special as Fais and Afrojack were childhood friends who both felt a deep connection to dance music. Now, Afrojack signed him to his label, WALL Recordings.
The song is another fantastic blend of EDM and pop. The two DJs have blended genres that are incredibly popular at the moment to create something different and fresh. We love the tropical house sound that dominates the song and I feel the husky vocals bring something different to the song. In all fairness, the song is nothing that we haven’t heard before. That being said, the track is incredibly radio friendly and catchy enough to be one of the biggest dance hits of the next few months.
“Fais has a one of a kind voice you only find once in a lifetime,” says Afrojack. “I really feel blessed to present him as a WALL artist and can’t wait to help him show the world his talent and his golden voice.” The song is a banger and we have a feeling it will be on repeat all day.
