He’s certainly one of the most underrated local acts right now and every single that Evida drops has been unique, exciting and well-produced. Today, on the star’s birthday, he teams up with rapper Luna Florentino for another dark banger titled ‘Demons’.
The melancholic yet uplifting pop ballad features Evida’s charismatic blend of honest lyrics and clean production while Luna Florentino jumps on laying down the verses with an uplifting message about making it against all odds that may be stacked against you.
The song is pretty relevant right now as so many people around the world, especially those who make a living in the arts, continue to struggle as a result of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.
“This is how it feels like to be in a space that’s not built to accommodate you yet,” Luna Florentino says of the song. “This industry is very dark and cold and it gets worse as you continue to navigate.”
