Eight years ago, chart-topping pop group ADAM and platinum-selling singer/songwriter Daniel Baron joined forces and recorded a collaboration album that yielded one of the biggest SA Pop/Rock hits of the last decade called ‘Say What You Want’, topping nearly every radio chart in the country and gaining popularity in Europe. They have officially announced the long-awaited release of ‘DIVE’, the second album project by the dream team collaborators.
The lead single ‘DIVE’ is an uptempo spectacle with melodic hooks around every corner. The dynamic vocal textures of Kyle Grant, Daniel Baron and Christoff De Beer tie in seamlessly with each-other, showcasing just why this collaboration was so effective in the past. The song compares the longing to get out into the open and dive into the water, to the longing for intimacy within a relationship.
The song was co-composed & produced by long-time friends and collaborators Daniel Baron and Hugo Ludik (founder of the ADAM group), who each head up their own successful music production houses. (Hit Kitchen Studios and Muse Productions). The album project was made possible by the sponsored assistance of SAMPRA (South African Music Performance Rights Association), who has been assisting a multitude of independent artists over the last few years.
“Every time we work together there is always such perfect harmony in how creative decisions are made, and to bare witness to the amount of nonstop teamwork and hard work that goes into these projects is truly special too. The fact that we are all such great friends that have known each other for so long makes it really easy and fun to create good music together.” Says two-time SAMA nominated artist-producer Daniel Baron.
