They shockingly announced their hiatus back in 2013 but after three years of silence, local rockers Dance, You’re On Fire are back! They announced that they will be doing some shows earlier this week and today, they’ve given their fans some new music. The band dropped their new single ‘Get It Right’ which will appear on the band’s upcoming EP and it’s reminded me exactly why I fell in love with the band all those years ago in the first place.
I hear so much of Fall Out Boy in this track and I love it. Lead singer, Tom Manners, puts on an exceptional vocal performance and shows off his many ranges throughout the song. Instrumentally, the song is full of energy and sees the band progress naturally into the 2016 music space. The song has totally brightened up my day and I’m so glad the group is making music again. I’m stoked to see what they have in store with their upcoming EP.
