It’s been months since Chris Brown announced that his new album would be titled ‘Heartbreak on a Full Moon’ and now, not only do we have a new single off the record but a release date as well! The star will be releasing the album on the 31st of October and has dropped a summery new single to get us in the mood.
Breezy shows his inner reggae with ‘Questions’ as he samples Kevin Lyttle’s classic single, ‘Turn Me On’. While the song itself has a heavy dancehall influence, the choreography matches up as well. The video has Chris Brown dancing in neon lights with women surrounding him and Breezy really snaps on the choreography. The bouncy single, with its infectious dancehall groove, features the star asking a hottie that catches his eye if he could take her home for the night.
Although the song is just over two minutes long, it’s a throwback to the more pop-driven music the star used to release at the beginning of his career. The new single hints that the album will have a stronger pop influence than his previous album ‘Royalty’. Are you ready for the new Chris Brown era? Let me know in the comments section below.
