Chris Brown celebrated his 27th birthday on the 5th of May and the same day, Sony Music Africa announced that the R&B crooner went gold with his seventh studio album ‘Royalty’. The record was released in December last year and it seems the singer isn’t wasting any more time as he announced that ‘Heartbreak On A Full Moon’ will serve as the title of his upcoming eighth studio album – and the first single is here!
Chris’ new track ‘Grass Ain’t Greener’ will serve as the lead single off the upcoming album and although I think it’s too early for Chris to release another album, with hits like this, I might just change my minds. In the song, Chris calls out a girl for not getting back to him and, again, he has released a great track that will appease both his pop and urban fans. The production isn’t anything spectacular but it’s the lyrical content of the song that makes it stand out. Chris’ music has become relatable over the past few years. That, paired with his fantastic voice has made him the success that he has become.
The singer delivered a smash hit yet again. The song oozes sex appeal and is exactly the kind of music Chris’ fans were hoping he’d release next. Although there is no confirmed date yet, it’s expected that Chris will release ‘Heartbreak On A Full Moon’ in the next few months.
