Ready for new music from Cassper Nyovest? The prolific rapper has been hard at work in the studio – and he’s finally ready to share what he has been working on with the world. The rapper took to Twitter to share that his upcoming studio album ‘Short And Sweet 2.0’ drops everywhere on 30 June.
To celebrate the new release, Cassper dropped ‘Siyathandana’ with Boohle and Abidoza as the lead single off the project – and fans are loving the direction the rapper is going in. ‘Siyathandana’ is a romantic love song that continues to showcase the rapper’s love for Amapiano.
The track samples Bob Sinclair’s famous single ‘World Hold On’ and the rapper continues to show the country just how diverse he is as a musician.
In a Q&A on social media, Cassper says that the project is likely to feature ten full tracks and some exciting collaborations while hinting that he will continue to explore the Amapiano genre on the project.
Other tracks that will be included in the project include ‘Angisho Guys’ with Lady Du and ‘Ama Number Ayi ’10 with Abidoza, Kammu Dee and LuuDaDeejay.
