Nicki Minaj recently performed in Mzansi and also dropped a brand new single with up-and-coming singer Bebe Rexha. No Broken Hearts serves as the lead single off her upcoming debut album, however, this isn’t the first time the singer and rapper have worked together. Bebe, although uncredited, sang the chorus on Nicki and David Guetta’s smash hit Hey Mama and now, she’s finally making a name for herself.
Bebe, who is currently smashing local charts with her G-Eazy collaboration Me, Myself & I, is one of the most exciting new artists we have heard in a while. The song is a great introduction to a mainstream audience. The mid-tempo track shows off both the crazy and emotional sides of Bebe. The song is definitely something out of the ordinary. The writing, production and Nicki’s rap are the stars of the song and, unfortunately, the only thing that lets the song down is its repetitive chorus.
We’ve been keeping an eye on Bebe since she dropped I’m Gonna Show You Crazy and I Can’t Stop Drinking About you and we’re really excited to see what she brings on her debut album. If it’s anything like the lead single, rest assured it’s going to be one banging record. Welcome to the game, Bebe.
