Bailey Schneider has had an impressive radio career. She has recently been co-hosting the drive show on Cape Town’s Smile FM alongside Maurice Carpede and has just announced that she will, for the first time ever, host a show of her very own.
In a touching Instagram post, the blogger tells fans that “In my 17 year history of being in Radio, 11.5 years has been in Commercial radio on an Afternoon Drive show. I have worked with some of the very best like: Alex Jay, Mark Pilgrim, Revin John, Brad Brown, Maurice Carpede to name just a few… First as a traffic girl, then as a co-host.” She adds that “From Monday [today], one of my radio goals becomes a reality. I have been given my own show to host on Smile 90.4 FM 9am – 12pm and I couldn’t be more excited! I hope you’ll join me for a fresh new show!”
Bailey’s new slot, titled Tea Time With Bailey, brings something fresh and different to the radio station. “I am so excited (and slightly nervous.) I have new features that I’ve worked on, so I can’t wait for you to join me,” she says. Bailey’s first guest was the beautiful Cindy Nel-Roberts and from what we’ve heard on today’s show, Bailey plans on bringing her own spin to radio – and we love it!
Angel Campey takes over the reigns as Maurice Carpede’s co-host.
