Over the past few days, Adele has teased her musical return. She wiped her social media profile images and landmarks around the world, including outside the Louvre in Paris, on the Colosseum in Rome, and near the top of the Empire State Building in New York, were lit up with the number ‘30’, rumoured to be the title of the star’s upcoming studio album. Now, Adele has confirmed that new music is indeed on the way as she reveals that her new single ‘Easy On Me’ drops globally on 15 October.
The star posted a black-and-white video on social media which sees Adele pop a cassette while driving a car. As a piano ballad plays, she cruises down the road while several pieces of sheet music fly out the window.
The new album would mark Adele’s fourth album and first in six years, following 2015’s ‘25’.
