2018 was a phenomenal year for Snotkop. He dropped an exciting new album ‘Sous’ and has toured the country extensively as he promotes the new record and performs the brand-new songs to fans for the very first time. The hard work has proven to pay off as the album has officially achieved gold status in South Africa selling in excess of 15 000 copies around the country.
The album was supported by the title track as the album’s lead single and garnered over 1 million views in just over six months. The project’s follow-up singles ‘Dropit Soos n’ Disprin’ and ‘Dik In Desember’ also achieved an impressive level of success reaching over 765 000 and 415 000 views respectively.
Snotkop confirmed the news on his social media pages adding that he’s ecstatic about the album’s success. “Thank you to every dear soul who bought [a copy of the album]! The party is not a party without you. It’s a dream [come true]! Celebrate with me and play the album loud!”
