It may have taken a while but he has finally done it! Matthew Mole has officially sold over 15 000 copies of his second studio album ‘Run’ earning it gold status in South Africa. This comes after the album was nominated in three South African Music Award categories namely, “Best Pop Album”, “Best Produced Album” and “Record of the Year” for his gold selling smash hit single “Run”.
“I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all the music lovers out there who made the effort to support my dreams,” the star says. “Thank you for believing in my craft. I can only hope that my music makes all my fans as happy as it makes me to make it.”
To celebrate, Matthew has decided to release another single off the album. ‘Inside Out’ will serve as the album’s fourth official single. The track comes after the success of ‘Run’, ‘Holding On’ and ‘Light’. The song is another beautifully written pop song which showcases Matthew’s vocal ability beautifully. ‘Inside Out’ has a catchy chorus that will undoubtedly become a firm favourite at the star’s shows going forward.
Reaching gold status is a massive achievement for any local artist and I can’t think of anyone more deserving that Matthew Mole. Here’s to platinum!
